Donate

CAWV is supported by grants, endowments, fund raising activities, and private donations. The expense of our program activities is considerable, constantly growing, and a daunting challenge that we must consistently rise to. Our commitment to offer our services at reasonable rates to families who face their own challenges each day is unwavering and will always be the cornerstone of what we do and who we are.

How

Individual tax-deductible gifts are the lifeblood of our program. We accept secure online gifts or welcome your checks:

Challenged Athletes of West Virginia
10 Snowshoe Drive,
Snowshoe, WV 26209

In-Kind Giving

In lieu of monetary donations, we welcome in-kind gifts that help sustain our programs in meaningful and practical ways.

  • Items or gift cards for fundraiser auctions
  • Housing for weekend volunteers
  • Equipment or services that support daily operations

Event Sponsorship

Throughout the year, CAWV hosts events made possible by the generosity of our sponsors. Sponsors are recognized through event-specific publicity and CAWV communications.

Please contact Executive Director Carol Woody to discuss sponsorship opportunities.

Memorial & Honorary Giving

Honor a loved one with a meaningful gift that supports CAWV’s mission. When making your donation, simply indicate the individual you are honoring.

Talk with Executive Director Carol Woody about ways to personalize your gift.

Community Partnerships

We welcome ongoing partnerships with schools, businesses, community clubs and civic organizations. Please give us a call to talk about what a CAWV partnership might mean for your group.

Gifts of Stock

When you make a donation to CAWV through stocks, you receive gift credit and an immediate income tax deduction for the fair market value of the securities on the date of transfer, no matter what you originally paid for them. You pay no capital gains tax on the donated securities. You can direct your gift to a specific fund or purpose.

Gifts of stock are this easy. You simply transfer securities to CAWV. CAWV sells your securities and uses the proceeds for programs. You or your broker can contact our Executive Director, CWoody@snowshoemountain.com, to coordinate.
